LOFOTEN

Mountainbike Norway

SINGLETRACK AND FLOW RIDES. NORWAY'S MOST ADRENALINE PUMPING ASSET. We know Norway well. We have been traveling the Scandinavian kingdom on skis for a number of years now and the one question that keeps popping up over and over again is:” Can you bike in Norway?” The answer is: Yes, you can!
In close cooperation with Andreas Tonelli, the “Lofoten bike expert” we developed this program full of adrenaline pumping and flowy trails, promising ridge rides and technical descents , coupled with stunning views of the world’s most beautiful archipelago. The Lofoten islands- they combine impressive mountains and craggy peaks, the open sea and idyllic fjords, romantic white sandy beaches and pristine landscapes, green heather and raging waterfalls, and of course, breathtaking trails from the mountain tops all the way down to the ocean. And we will not only bike: we will stay in the finest accommodations and every evening we will embark on a delicious culinary journey, where the ocean, with its variety of seafood, will take center stage. With some luck we might even be able to see the Northern Lights. Chances for seeing the Aurora Borealis are best during the months of September and October. Extensive bike rides in pristine nature- with this program we are one step ahead of time.

CHARACTER

Impressive bike trip on first-class trails with little traffic and full of adrenaline around Narvik and on the most beautiful islands of the Lofoten archipelago. Pleasant accommodations in the best Rorbuer facilities on the mainland and Lofoften islands with tasty local cuisine and professional guiding on the best trails in the region. Bike rides in Norway are not comparable to the ones in the Alps. Before you can hop on your bike for the downhill, you have to pedal, carry or hike your bike to the top. On the downhill we will find ourselves on the less traveled, technical trails. The descent offers stunning views and impressions of the unique landscape. Sometimes we will go on several smaller rides on one day. In order to maximize our experience of the most beautiful Islands of the Lofoten archipelago, we will change our base three times. The weather can change quickly and we might start out in pouring rain and end our day with the sun warming up our descent to the ocean. Besides biking this program offers a unique landscape which is rich in contrast, a far-out feeling and the certainty to experience something special.

Herrliche Panoramen!
